Retail
Distribution for Your DVD

Go Distro is pleased to offer your film
exciting physical distribution options. Go
Distro is constantly working hard to bring
you new and innovative ways to get your DVDs
out to the masses without forcing you to
give up any of your rights. Our current
partnerships include:
Super D
Super D is one of the country's largest
one-stop and has the world's largest
selection of music, movies and games. As the
only worldwide wholesaler, they sell to
thousands of independent retailers, major
chains, online retailers, other wholesalers
and specialty retailers.
What is a "one-stop" you might ask? It is
a wholesaler that gets products from many
different distributors, into one central
ordering system for retail stores. Super D
offers retail stores everything from the
Hollywood blockbusters to independent films,
and now, you. Retail stores order from Super
D to save time and trouble over ordering
from many different distributors.
Ryko Distribution
Via a partnership with Ryko
Distribution/WEA, Go Distro can now offer
select independent filmmakers a
comprehensive distribution solution,
allowing them access to every brick and
mortar film store, specialty retail,
military retail outlets, and other outlets
in the United States (through the power of
Ryko’s parent company, WEA, any place that
sells physical DVDs, Ryko can sell your
product if there is a demand). All without
taking any rights away from you – you’re
still the rights owner and in control! We
just help get your films out to a much wider
audience.
NETFLIX
Netflix is the largest online DVD rental
service, offering flat rate rental-by-mail
and online streaming to customers in the
United States. Established in 1997 it has
amassed a collection of 100,000 titles and

How can I submit a movie to Go Distro?
First, email us at
Jane.Ackerman@GoDistro.com
with:
- the name of your film
- the running time of your film
- a “sell sheet” or basic info on your film
- any additional information you would like us to
know
- a link to view a preview on-line
- Address and name for where to send your sales
reports, revenues and payments
IMPORTANT: Please note, at this time all films
must be in English and we may need a screening copy
mailed to us.
What do I need to submit for distribution?
- After reading about
Go Distro's Film
Distribution, you can sign up for
an account at any time.
- When you sign up for this service plan,
we will begin to register your film. We will
therefore need you to get us all of
the information we listed above to then tell
us about your film. This is what we
use to make your film and DVD available for
sale. Take your time and/or send us
a sales sheet to describe the film
production. This is essentially
what our customers will see when they pull
up this title. You'll have the opportunity
to post press clippings, studio information,
cover art, bio information and anything
about your film. You can also make changes
to this information.
- IMPORTANT: Please then send us
16 copies of your DVD. After you've
registered your film, described it to us,
the next step is to print out that
information, and then send it along with 10
copies of your DVD product. We will keep one
of those DVD copies as a reference for our
records at Go Distro, and then the rest of
the 15 DVD copies will be resold to
consumers. Therefore, the DVD's you send us
will need to be retail ready with a UPC,
etc.
- If you have a trailer/clip for your film
that you would prefer us to use (and it is
not on the DVD), feel free to enclose a DVD
with your submission. If you want us to take
a clip from the film at a certain scene,
just enclose a note with the DVD's with
instructions. Feel free to change your clip
and trailer anytime as well.
- We do NOT censor films.
You are not required to have a rating on
your movie, but we do ask that you set an
MPAA rating system as a guideline to help
our customers know whom can view that film
as appropriate. Unfortunately though, we
cannot accept material that is pornographic
in nature due to federal laws, our legal
insurance restrictions and because our
retail partners will not carry that type3 of
product (we have deals to get your material
at stores like Target, Amazon, Borders which
do not carry that type of film production).
- We can accept DVD-R's and
homemade packaging, however, that product
does need to be retail ready with a UPC.
If you need, cover artwork completed by our
professional creative art department (we use
Universal Music Group's art department for
that design work),
we can deal with that
at any time, however, fees will
apply to that work. We do hope that you can
provide our retail partners and consumers a
professional looking product. Please
do not hand written text copy on your cover
art label and/or on the DVD disc.
If you need
professional discs made at a great prices,
you can do that here with Go Distro!
- There is a one-time-ever sign up
fee of $99.99 per title for
this package. The fee is for us
using our man hours to set up, build and
edit your web page, scanning of your
artwork, registering your title with
Videoscan, digitizing your video,
warehousing your DVDs, and making your film
available both physically and digitally to
nearly every available outlet worldwide
PLEASE NOTE that this is a one time set up
fee covers these services without any
re-occurring fees.
How The Money Works
- YOU KEEP 100%
OF ALL REVENUES RECEIVED BY GO DISTRO FROM ALL RETAILERS)
of all revenues and you keep the
rest.
- If we receive $100 for sales
in a given month, you will get
$100.00 payments for that month.
- NO additional hidden fees or
exceptions. NO recurring fees.
- For all third party
distribution to retail, you
always get paid every month and
as we get paid by retail. Most
services pay monthly. Some
quarterly and some depends on
the sales thresholds (i.e.: we
do not get paid unless revenues
exceed $50 at that store).
Please note that we will need
a total of 16 (15 need to be
retail ready for resale) DVDs
to set up and implement this plan
for your Film.
